About Me, Maneeza Iqbal

WARNING: This section is full of "I" statements, things I'm good at and is all about me. And since you're reading this, the conversation is one-sided. Urgh, the essence of a bad date, I know. But, also the definition of an "About Me" section. So, here we are.

Right, I'll keep this short.

I'm a firm believer in actions speaking louder than words. That's why I built this website as a place to showcase some of my work. Each section highlights some my skills, but that doesn't mean I can't grow. 

I have worked at newspapers, TV stations, a radio station and interned at MSN UK. Each place has taught me something new in my professional life and personal life. You can find a more detailed look at my work experience on my LinkedIn profile.

I'm a quick learner and a multi-tasker. I learn from my successes, and I grow and adapt from my failures. I'm good at quickly adapting to new formats, technology and processes. I think training others is the best way to succeed as a team and to learn from people's different approaches to new things.

I support cookies at the workplace, and I feel that an impromptu dance party and/or sing-along can make a day seem less like work.
